Sony Simply launched the Xperia XZ3 in IFA in August, and it Seems to be Focusing on bringing a new mid-range Xperia XA3 series to the market.
The Sony Xperia XA3 and Xperia XA3 Ultra have been leaked in renders and videos hinting at an imminent launch. Both the devices have been seen sporting a similar design language with thin chins on top and bottom, and negligible bezels on the left and right edges. At the back, both the devices sport a dual camera set piled. The fingerprint sensor is side-mounted, as seen on previous Sony apparatus also, as well as the specifications of these 2 versions have also been leaked in detail.
Onleaks in cooperation with MySmartPrice has leaked 5K renders of those 2 mid-rangers – Sony Xperia XA3 and Sony Xperia XA3 Ultra. Both the devices sport a comparable layout, although the Ultra version has a larger screen. As previously mentioned, the 2 phones sport thin bezels on the top and bottom chin, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor between the power and quantity rockers, along with a dual camera set in the rear stacked horizontally. The Sony and Xperia logos are embossed in the back as well. The 3.5millimeter audio jack sits on the top edge, while the speakers sit at the bottom edge of the unit.
Coming to the specifications, the report notes the Sony Xperia XA3 will operate on Android Pie out of the box, and game a 5.9-inch (1080×2160 pixels) screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 660 octa-core chip, paired with 6GB RAM. Internal storage is tipped to be at 64GB. Connectivity options are expected to be Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, 4G VoLTE, and a USB Type-C port. The Xperia XA3 will quantify at 155.7×68.3×8.4mm.
The Sony Xperia XA3 Ultra, on the other hand, is said to sport a 6.5-inch (1080×2160 pixels) full-HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, and measure in 167.4×73.3×8.3mm. The report states that both the Xperia XA3 and XA3 Ultra can launch in the fourth quarter of 2018 or in CES 2019 in January.
