Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 7, and Also the Redmi Go in India recently.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro along with also the Redmi Note 7 generated huge ripples within their respective price ranges by providing excellent hardware at aggressive prices. Xiaomi launched a slightly altered version of this Redmi Note 7 in India which sports a 12-megapixel main camera compared to this Redmi Note 7 with a 48-megapixel camera that it launched in China. The Redmi Go which started a couple of days ago is Xiaomi’s initial Android Go smartphone which sports an affordable cost of Rs. 4,499.
Xiaomi has now released kernel source for both the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 (codename: lavender) and Redmi Move (codename: tiare), that was first spotted by XDA Developers. Together with Xiaomi releasing kernel source for all these devices developers can get to function like porting TWRP custom recovery for these devices.
With a custom recovery, users who like to tinker with their smartphones are going to be able to flash different ROMs on their devices. Since programmers are already building a personalized TWRP retrieval for your Redmi Note 7, this should help with a stable version of the custom made recovery. Xiaomi hasn’t published kernel source for the popular Redmi Note 7 Pro however, but we’re hoping that it is released shortly.
The Redmi Note 7 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC and contains two variations, 3GB RAM /32GB storage along with 4GB RAM/ 64GB of storage. It launched with MIUI 10 along with Android 9 Pie and shortly got a software upgrade to enhance low-light camera functionality.
