Although Honor, the sub-brand from Chinese telecom giant Huawei, has released a Minumum of One phone with an in-display fingerprint Detector in China, the Business is yet to Perform the same Worldwide.
However, that may change soon. New rumours out of China indicate that we could be looking at an Honor 20 Pro smartphone, which will contain an in-display fingerprint detector. The Honor 20 Pro launch is very likely to take place around April 25 and the phone will reportedly sport a Sony IMX600 image sensor.
Chinese news site CNMO has shared several Weibo posts, which talk about a Glory 20 smartphone that’s in the works, which is reported to function as Honor 20 Pro. The gadget is rumoured to have a 6.1-inch OLED screen with an in-display fingerprint detector. If Honor launches this telephone globally then it would be the initial Honor phone with an in-display fingerprint sensor to start outside China.
It’s said to be powered by HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC, that’s the company’s flagship chip, and is very likely to be released in 3 configurations — 6GB of RAM + 128GB onboard storage, 8GB of RAM + 128GB onboard storage, and 8GB of RAM + 256GB of onboard storage.
Other rumoured specifications include a triple camera setup in the back and one 32-megapixel sensor in the front. The rear camera setup is believed to house a 48-megapixel main detector, a 20-megapixel sensor with a wide-angle lens, along with an 8-megapixel sensor using a telephoto lens, which is said to have 3x optical zoom support. Some of the possible applications attributes Gaming+, Link Turbo, CPU, and GPU Turbo. Moreover, the phone will come with a 3,650mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging. Finally, the report asserts that the phone is expected to begin at approximately CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 30,800). This could come as a replacement to the Honor View 20 (Review), when and if it starts by the end of the month.
