Game of Thrones Season 8 Teaser Gives Us a Glimpse of the Ice and Fire Battle

Game of Thrones season 8, which is the final season of the popular HBO Series, has received its first teaser.
The 39-second clip gives us a simple glimpse of everything we can expect from the final season of Game of Thrones. The teaser begins off with ice and fire sweeping across the map of fictional world Westeros, possibly a take on the”A Song of Fire and Ice” book show that the series is based on. Game of Thrones season 8 will premiere sometime in April 2019.
Dubbed Dragonstone, this teaser marks the approach towards Game of Thrones’ last season following a blockbuster run during the past seven seasons. Notably, year 8 will be published in April 2019 that is made up of a 20 months gap following the penultimate year went off air in August 2017. That is much more than the typical gap between other seasons of HBO’s epic fantasy series.

Other than that, the brief Game of Thrones year 8 teaser shows fire engulfing a lion figure, which is probably a hint towards House Lannister. In the end, at the end of the teaser, fire and ice collide with each other indicating an epic battle prior to the show finally comes to an end.

To remember, shooting Game of Thrones season 8 finished back in July this year, with reports indicating that the prequel will be shot in October. Moreover, the launch month (April 2019) was announced last month via an advice teaser printed by the official Game of Thrones YouTube station. One report suggests that the cast and crew spent around 10 months shooting for season , with about two months of those spent filming only the big battle between the living and the dead. Each episode is thought to have costed about $15 million (roughly Rs. 105 crores) to produce.

Beyond this, there’s very limited details about what the actual plot or storyline of this Game of Thrones closing season would be. We will have to wait until the release of the official full-length trailer to have a better perspective at how things will look in the Game of Thrones universe as it prepares for a last showdown next year.
