It contains the all too powerful and wonderful ingredients, avocado. Avocados are high in potassium, dietary fiber, foliate, essential fatty acids and an assortment of other vitamins and minerals. When it comes to healthy meets tasty, it’s a win-win. Let’s face it; guacamole is one of those perfect appetizers.
However it can be served in many different ways. Some like it extra spicy, some prefer it tangy, the recipe below is for those who like it tangy. One point to note is that it is truly delicious, and won’t leave out the spicy impaired. And most likely many people have experienced the agony of being served ridiculously hot dishes. Imagine you have gone to someone’s house and he/she is serving you such. It is so hard to tell your host that you may most likely have set your mouth on fire.
And if you are not sure what to serve your guest a spicy or not so spicy dish then you will find that this recipe comes in conveniently.
Ingredients
• 2 large or 3 small ripe Hass avocados
• 4 tbsp of fresh squeezed lemon or lime juice (also try the unique twist try key lime)
• 1 tsp of minced garlic
• 1 tbsp of Minced Garlic
• 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive (or your own choice)
• Tabasco sauce
• Salt
• Pepper
Preparation
Cut each avocado in half lengthwise and discard the pits. Scoop the flesh out into a medium sized bowl with the help of a spoon. Add the lemon juice and mash the mixture with the back of a fork or a potato masher until a chunk is formed don’t overdo it guacamole is best when it has some rough small pieces.
In another small bowl, mix together the garlic and olive oil then mix to the avocado. Add the Tabasco and salt and pepper to taste.
Serve it immediately with tortilla chips or pita crisps.
